Cupid Chan is a seasoned professional who is well-established in the industry and is a Senior Fellow and Adjunct Professor in University of Maryland. His journey started out as one of the key players in building a world-class BI platform. Aside from holding various technical accreditations, his credential extends into other qualifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma and SAFe Agilist and Architect.
Cupid has been a consultant for years providing solutions to various Fortune 500 companies as well as the Public Sector. He is the Lead Architect for Business Intelligence Analytics program in Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) leading analytics initiatives on top of ~1PB data on both Big Data and traditional DB platforms. By leveraging the power of Data, Analytics and Technology, he helps his clients to gain invaluable insight and improve various aspects on their businesses.
He was the Board of Directors and Technical Steering Committee in Linux Foundation ODPi. His current role as Chairperson of BI & AI Committee in LF AI & Data enables him to lead initiatives intersecting AI and BI and make it CI (Cognitive Intelligence) – combing the speed machines accelerate (AI) with the direction intuited by human insight (BI).
He was the Architecture and Logical Data Model Group Chairperson accountable for managing engineering disciplines, providing overall technical direction and supporting for all products at Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO), which is a not-for-profit responsible for developing standards for exchanging information and conducting business for the U.S. mortgage finance industry.

Dr. Harry Quon is an associate professor of radiation oncology and molecular radiation sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He also holds appointments in oncology and in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery. His area of clinical expertise is radiation treatment for head and neck cancers.
He serves as the co-director of the Johns Hopkins Head and Neck Cancer Multidisciplinary Clinic.
Dr. Quon received his M.D. from the University of Toronto Institute of Medical Science. He completed his residency at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Ontario and performed a fellowship in radiation oncology at the Princess Margaret Hospital and the Beth Israel Medical Center.

Calvin Chiew focuses on growing Pistevo Decision’s leadership in multi-platform applications and analytics development. He works with clients in deploying mission-critical applications and data systems in cloud-based platforms.
Calvin brings 25 years of Information Technology experience to Pistevo Decision. Prior to Pistevo Decision, he held positions in ranging from Fortune 500 to startups in Healthcare, Mortgage Finance, Telecommunication, Wireless Technologies, Insurance and Defense.
In the past 12 years, he worked on analytics for the CMS Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program for tracking payments, detecting fraud and monitoring Meaningful Measures. He was part of Accenture team in revamping CVS Health ExtraCare vendor portal. He also held leadership roles in commercial Population Health Management suite and smartphone app development.
Calvin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from University of Houston, Texas.

Phillip H. Phan, Ph.D., is Alonzo and Virginia Decker Professor in the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School with a joint appointment as Professor in the Department of Medicine at Johns Hopkins Medicine. He is Robert Bosch Policy Fellow at the American Academy in Berlin. He is former Executive Vice Dean and Interim Dean of the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. His academic and professional work focuses on technology innovation and entrepreneurship in healthcare, especially in the domains of patient safety and quality. He has published more than 200 peer reviewed research papers, abstracts, and conference proceedings and is author or editor of 13 scholarly books. He served 2 terms as Editor-in-Chief of the Academy of Management Perspectives, is currently Deputy Editor of the International Journal for Quality in Health Care, Academic Editor of Medicine®, and Associate Editor of the Journal of Technology Transfer. He currently serves on review panels for the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine, Hong Kong University Grants Council, and the National Science Foundation.
He is Networking Core Director for the Johns Hopkins Artificial Intelligence Collaboratory for Aging Research, an NIA-funded national research center for aging. He is co-founder of P4 Microbiome Inc., focused on antimicrobial therapies for the GI tract, and Pistevo Decision, focused on data-driven phenotyping of cancer patients. He is co-PI and co-I of NIH grants totaling more than $25million.
